Accessibility Statement

Patrick Helms strives to make the EZZE WCAG Pro website (https://ezze-wcag-pro.com) accessible in accordance with applicable accessibility legislation. We implement measures to ensure that people with disabilities have equal access to our content and features.

1. Compliance status

This website was developed in accordance with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), conformance level AA, and relevant European accessibility requirements (including EN 301 549). In many areas, we also aim for the highest conformance level AAA.

2. Measures to improve accessibility

The following measures have been implemented:

Color contrast: Color combinations have been adjusted to meet WCAG 2.1 requirements (Level AA, and in some cases Level AAA) to ensure optimal readability.

Font sizes: Font sizes have been adjusted to provide the best possible readability on all devices, especially for people with visual impairments.

Navigation: The website supports full keyboard navigation. Essential elements such as the main navigation, content area, and documentation navigation are reachable by keyboard. Accessible breadcrumb navigation, skip links, and—where enabled—accessibility shortcut keys are also integrated.

The following individual keys have been tested for functionality:

  • Tab key: To move between interactive elements on a page or in an application.
  • Arrow keys (up, down, left, right): To navigate within text, lists, and other elements.
  • Space bar: To select elements.
  • Enter key: To confirm selected elements or open links and menus.
  • ESC key: To exit dialogs or modal windows.

Screen reader compatibility: The functionality of the website has been tested with the screen reader NVDA version 2024.1 to ensure the best possible usability.

Where accessibility shortcut keys are enabled on the website, the following key combinations are available, among others:

  • Alt + Shift + N = Jump to main menu
  • Alt + Shift + H = Jump to content
  • Alt + Shift + E = Jump to end of page
  • Alt + Shift + S = Jump to start of page
  • Alt + Shift + F = Jump to search

Alternative text for media: Images and graphics include alternative text where they are informative, so that they are also understandable for screen reader users.

Forms and interactive elements: Forms and interactive elements have been designed to support compatibility with screen readers and to help users with motor impairments use them as accessibly as possible.

Responsive design: The website adapts flexibly to different screen sizes and devices to enable accessible use on mobile devices.

3. Accessibility limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas are not yet fully accessible:

  • Linked PDF documents on the website have generally not yet been reviewed for accessibility.
  • Embedded third-party content (such as checkout or licensing processes via Freemius, external demos, maps, or videos) cannot be fully controlled by us.
  • Easy-language supplements are not yet available.
  • Individual older marketing or demo content may not yet meet all details of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.

Where possible, we continuously work to address these limitations.

4. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 01 July 2026 and is updated regularly. The accessibility of the website is reviewed manually at irregular intervals.
